Young and Emerging Professionals (35 yrs and under) Virtual Meet-Up

The field of urban forestry is young and rapidly growing. Young and emerging professionals are helping to shape the emerging field and will be the future face of the industry. Join us for the first meet up of the UCFS’s Young and Emerging Professionals committee focused on people working in or studying urban forestry who are 35 years and under. Come to meet other professionals in the field of urban forestry and learn from each other’s experiences. We will discuss career goals, how to shape your own career path, and changes in the industry. Our goal is to provide an equitable and accessible space that all young and emerging professionals are welcome to attend and learn from each other.

During this meeting the group will:

1. Begin a roadmap for career development within urban forestry.
2. Create a network of professionals to provide support and mentorship.
3. Provide tools to grow personally and professionally in urban forestry and beyond.
