SUMMARY:UCFS Members and Friends Virtual Meet-Up for LGBTQIA+ Self-identified Urban and Community Foresters
DESCRIPTION:Join UCFS members and friends for a virtual LGBTree meet-up! \nPlease join LGBTree for our first virtual social. We will listen to a personal talk from Natalie Krug. Natalie is an Arborist/Urban Forester in San Mateo County\, California. She will discuss how embracing her queerness as an adult and professional led to interesting revelations about her relationship with trees. Following a Q and A of Natalie’s talk\, we will have a time to get to know each other lead by the LGBTree committee. \nThis virtual social will be a chance to learn from and be with your trees friends who self-identify as LGBTQIA+. We want to ensure participants feel comfortable. Therefore\, we will be keeping this event open to just those in the queer community. We plan to have future events open to all\, including allies so please stay tuned. \nDate: Monday\, October 21 \nTime: 5:00-6:00pm\, Eastern Time \nLocation: Microsoft Teams\n \nYour hosts: \n\nLGBTree\, a UCFS Affinity Group\n\nRegister Here!
